Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with AexoreX Newsroom, the official corporate publication operated at news.aexorex.com. It is written for a professional audience: readers of our journalism, journalists and media contacts, editorial contributors, and authorized editorial administrators.

This policy describes the Newsroom only. It does not govern the AEOS QUANTUM™ enterprise software platform or any other AexoreX property, each of which is subject to its own terms and notices. Where a separate agreement, contractual term, applicable law, or product-specific notice applies to a particular relationship, that document governs that relationship and this policy may be supplemented accordingly.

This policy is a production-oriented document. It is not a representation that any particular legal review, certification, audit, or regulatory registration has been completed.

AexoreX Newsroom is published by AexoreX Systems LLC. The Newsroom is an editorial publication: it produces news, analysis, research, interviews, and press materials, and it operates a press office for journalists and media partners.

The Newsroom is not a consumer social network, a marketplace, or an advertising platform. The information it processes is limited to what is necessary to operate journalism, editorial administration, press relations, publication, security, and accountability.

This policy applies to:

• Visitors who read publicly available journalism on news.aexorex.com
• Journalists, analysts, and media contacts who correspond with the press office
• Editorial contributors whose work appears in the publication
• Authorized editorial administrators who use the newsroom administration area
• Technical and security logging generated by operating the site
• Social platform authorizations created by authorized administrators for official publishing

It does not apply to external websites we link to, to third-party platforms that redistribute our content, or to information you provide directly to another organization.

A. Information you provide

We receive the information you choose to send us — for example when you contact the press office, submit a correction request, request media materials, or correspond about coverage. This typically includes your name, the email address or channel you write from, your organization, and the contents of your message.

B. Information collected automatically

Standard server, hosting, and infrastructure logs may record technical request data such as IP address, user agent, referring URL, requested URL, and timestamps. This data is generated by ordinary operation of a public website and is used for security, reliability, abuse prevention, and service operation.

C. Editorial account information

Accounts exist only for authorized AexoreX editorial personnel. For those accounts we hold an email address, a display name, an assigned role, and records of editorial actions such as creating, saving, publishing, updating, and unpublishing stories.

D. Press and media communications

Correspondence with the press office — including inquiries, embargo discussions, correction requests, and follow-up — is processed so that we can respond and maintain a record of the exchange.

E. Social platform authorization data

When an authorized administrator connects an official AexoreX social account, the authorization issued by that platform is stored on our servers and used only to operate the connected publishing functionality and to identify which account is connected. These authorizations are not exposed to the browser, and we do not request direct-message permissions.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of information from readers, and reading the publication does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to us.

Information is used to:

• Publish and distribute editorial content
• Operate, secure, monitor, and maintain the Newsroom
• Respond to press, journalist, and reader correspondence
• Administer editorial accounts and roles
• Maintain editorial accountability, including audit records of editorial actions
• Handle corrections, disputes, and complaints
• Operate authorized publishing to official AexoreX social accounts
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, where applicable

We do not use reader information to build advertising profiles, and we do not operate behavioral advertising on the Newsroom.

Advertising may be introduced in the future. If it is, we will update this policy to explain the providers and choices available before or when the relevant technology is activated.

Where a privacy law that requires an identified legal basis applies to a particular processing activity, we rely, to the extent required by applicable law, on grounds such as:

• Our legitimate interests in operating a publication, maintaining editorial accountability, and securing our systems
• Performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, for example responding to your inquiry
• Compliance with a legal obligation
• Freedom of expression and information, including journalistic purposes, where applicable law provides for it
• Consent, where consent is required and has been given

The applicability of any specific legal framework depends on the circumstances, the jurisdiction, and whether the relevant statutory conditions are satisfied.

Articles, press releases, media materials, bylines, and related metadata are published for public access. Once published, this material may remain publicly accessible, may be archived, and may be indexed, cached, quoted, or redistributed by third parties outside our control.

Content that is publicly available on the Newsroom should not be treated as confidential merely because a visitor accesses it. Requests concerning published editorial content are handled as editorial matters under our published editorial standards and corrections process, which are separate from this privacy policy.

Reading published journalism does not require you to sign in. Where cookies, local storage, or similar technologies are used, they support core site functionality — for example maintaining an authenticated editorial session in the administration area or remembering interface state.

Essential cookies and similar storage support site operation, security and authenticated editorial sessions. Analytics or monitoring technologies may be used to understand site performance and reliability where enabled; these are distinct from advertising technologies. We do not currently operate behavioral advertising or Google AdSense on the Newsroom.

In the future, we may use advertising and third-party advertising technologies, including services such as Google AdSense, subject to activation, applicable policies and law. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies where legally permitted to measure or deliver ads. Personalized advertising may use information about activity across sites to tailor ads; non-personalized advertising does not use such profiles to tailor ads, though it may still use limited technologies for frequency, security or measurement. Third-party providers may process information under their own privacy policies, separate from ours. None of this means such advertising is currently active here.

Cookie Settings currently provides this information, not an on-site consent control: no consent-management platform is installed here yet. You can manage, block or delete cookies and similar storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may affect authenticated editorial features. If optional advertising technology is activated, we will provide any consent or opt-out controls required by applicable law and explain how to change your choices here.

We rely on service providers to operate the Newsroom, including providers of hosting, infrastructure, database, storage, email, content distribution, search indexing, and analytics or monitoring functionality where used.

Service providers are engaged to process information on our behalf for the purposes described in this policy, subject to appropriate obligations to the extent required by applicable law. Each provider operates its own systems and policies, which we do not control.

Authorized administrators may connect official AexoreX social accounts so that Newsroom stories can be published to those accounts. The authorization issued by the platform is used only for that purpose and is limited to the permissions granted. An administrator can disconnect the integration, which removes the stored authorization.

Once content is published to an external platform, that platform processes it independently under its own privacy policy and terms. We do not control how a third-party platform collects, retains, ranks, or discloses information relating to that content or to the people who interact with it.

The Newsroom also links to external websites. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, and this policy does not apply to them.

Information may be disclosed:

• To service providers acting on our behalf for the purposes described above
• Within AexoreX Systems LLC where necessary to operate the publication
• Where required by law, legal process, or a lawful request from a public authority, to the extent permitted and required by applicable law
• To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of AexoreX, our personnel, or others
• In connection with a corporate transaction, where permitted by applicable law
• With your direction or consent

Content you submit for publication, or that we publish as part of our journalism, is disclosed publicly by nature.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not operate cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising on the Newsroom.

If this ever changes, we will update this policy and provide any opt-out mechanism required by applicable law before or at the time of the change.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising if those activities take place. Contact us using the details below to ask about rights that apply to you; future advertising, if introduced, will be accompanied by any required choices and updated disclosures.

We retain information for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, and we do not commit to fixed retention periods in this policy. Retention depends on factors including:

• The purpose the information serves
• Editorial accountability and the integrity of the published record
• Legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations, where applicable
• Security, abuse prevention, and system reliability requirements
• Dispute resolution and the establishment or defense of legal claims
• Ordinary business record practices
• For social platform authorizations, whether the connection remains active

Published editorial content is generally retained as part of the public record of the publication. Social platform authorizations are retained until they are revoked, expire, or are disconnected.

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Access to editorial systems is limited to authorized personnel with an assigned role, and editorial actions may be logged.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security. This policy does not assert any specific certification, audit outcome, or technical guarantee.

AexoreX Systems LLC operates from the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States or in other countries. If you access the Newsroom or contact us from outside the United States, information relating to that interaction may be transferred to and processed in a country whose data protection laws differ from those of your own.

Where a transfer mechanism is required by applicable law, we take steps intended to provide an appropriate basis for the transfer. This policy does not assert data residency in any specific country.

Depending on where you reside and whether the applicable statutory thresholds and other conditions are satisfied, a U.S. state privacy law may give you rights in relation to personal information about you. Rights differ by state, and some exemptions — including exemptions relevant to journalism, publicly available information, and certain business records — may apply.

A. California

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies, California residents may have rights to know or access personal information, to request correction, to request deletion, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of sale or sharing where such activity occurs, together with a right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a right. As described above, we do not sell personal information for monetary consideration and do not operate cross-context behavioral advertising on the Newsroom, so no opt-out mechanism for those activities is offered.

B. Virginia

Where the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act applies, Virginia residents may have rights to confirm processing and access personal data, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling where those activities occur. Virginia also provides a right to appeal a refusal to act on a request, and we will honor an appeal process where the law requires it.

C. Other U.S. states

Other states have enacted comprehensive privacy laws with broadly similar rights. Where such a law applies to us and to you, we will honor the rights it provides, including any appeal mechanism it requires. We do not claim to be subject to every U.S. state privacy law, and the availability of any specific right depends on the applicable statute.

If a privacy law outside the United States applies to a particular processing activity, you may have rights under that law — which may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent — subject to the conditions and exemptions that law provides, including exemptions for journalism and freedom of expression where they exist.

We will assess and respond to such requests to the extent required by applicable law. This policy does not assert certification under, or automatic applicability of, any non-U.S. privacy framework.

The Newsroom is a professional publication intended for a general and business audience. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact the press office and we will take appropriate steps.

You can read published journalism without providing personal information to us. You can choose not to contact the press office, and you can manage cookies and similar storage through your browser.

For current cookie guidance, see Section 8 (Cookie Settings). There is no on-site advertising consent preference to change while advertising technology is inactive; if it is introduced, we will explain any applicable choices before or at activation.

To make a privacy request, contact the press office using the details in Section 21 and describe the request and the jurisdiction you are relying on. We may need to verify your identity, or the authority of an agent acting on your behalf, before acting on a request. Where we decline a request, we will explain the basis to the extent required by applicable law, and we will provide an appeal route where the law requires one.

Requests concerning the content of published journalism are handled as editorial matters through our corrections and editorial standards process rather than as privacy requests, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Newsroom, our practices, or applicable legal requirements. The current version is always published at this address, with the effective and last-updated dates shown at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before or at the time they take effect.
